Goodwood Revival 2009 – Starts today
Fri, 18 Sep 2009The Goodwood Revival this year concentrates on all things 'Mini'. This year’s theme is ‘Swinging Sixties’ which gives us the excuse to run the shot of the Mini-Skirted lovelies at the top. There will be a recreation of Carnaby Street from its sixties heyday, with Saturday being ‘Ladies Day’ with the encouragement to wear the shortest skirts possible (I think there should be a ‘Leg Judge’ to qualify the participants, though – I know, chauvinist pig).
Rolls Royce Ghost spotted at Dover
Sun, 17 May 2009A virtually uncamouflaged Rolls Royce Ghost caught waiting for a ferry at Dover We’ve seen the Rolls Royce Ghost (formerly known as the RR4 or EX200) out testing in various states of camouflage over the last few months. Finally, at the Geneva Motor Show, we got a proper look at the Ghost, and then, in April, Rolls Royce decided to tell us what we already knew back in February, that it was to be known as the Rolls Royce Ghost, to make a brace of ethereal model names for Rolls Royce, along with the Phantom. So with Rolls Royce seemingly on target to launch the Rolls Royce Ghost as a production-ready car at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, they are busy testing the Ghost in Europe, and our snappers caught this virtually uncamouflaged Ghost patiently waiting to catch a ferry at Dover to sail to Calais.
SEMA 2008 show report: Dodge Challenger
Thu, 06 Nov 2008By Ben Whitworth Motor Shows 06 November 2008 16:59 Chrysler may have its back against the wall, but that hasn't stopped its SRT skunkworks team churning out what is easily the most politically incorrect – and, as a result, wonderfully desirable – Challenger SRT-10. Yes, and with an 8.4-litre 600bhp V10 Viper motor shoehorned into the Dodge’s engine bay, there’ll be plenty of tyre smoke! Developed in house by Chrysler’s Street and Racing Technology department, this is the hottest of Challengers.
