Mercedes already has a hit on its hands with the new A Class (it’s sold 100,000 already) but there are more variants of the new A Class to come including the new CLA – the baby CLS – and the car we have here – the Mercedes GLA SUV / Crossover. Based on the same platform as the new A Class, the GLA is a new Mercedes niche aimed at the growing compact SUV market, just like the new Volvo V40 Cross Country.

The 350 examples of the SLS AMG GT Final Edition available are said to represent the ‘last opportunity’ for interested buyers to purchase an SLS before it gets pensioned off – perhaps in favour of a newer, smaller AMG-built sports car. Camouflaged Cadillac ELR spotted on the road
Mon, 03 Sep 2012Autoweek reader Josh Lindquist recently snapped these photos of what may be a camouflaged Cadillac ELR cruising around metropolitan Detroit. While the photos don't show the car from every angle, its lines are strikingly similar to those on the ELR featured on Cadillac's official Web site. The ELR first appeared as the Cadillac Converj concept in 2009.
