The Borg-Warner T56 came out of a 95 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, Car had 119K with the original LT1. I drove it for maybe 10k miles before I started my project, Transmission presented no problems during that time, Held gears perfectly, no grinding or odd noises. Did replace the clutch with a 6 Puck style. Has a McLeod Flywheel to allow the pull-style clutch to mate with the BBC engine.

Engine came out of a 90s Chevy Truck so it has oval port heads.
Bored .40 over
Has a reman crankshaft.
Engine rebuild parts were purchased from Summit Racing.
*Felpro Gasket kit,
*Main and rod bearings,
*I valves were reused but upgraded the valvetrain to support the Camshaft upgrade,
*Lunati Voodo 10110702K(cam, springs, lifters, chain, the whole 9 yards)**This is the biggest cam you can run with these stock heads.
*Swaped the dome pistons for Flat tops
***Unfortunately with the flat top pistons they require special "shallow rings" which were not installed,
***Summit still states the current ones i have on are supposed to work but they simply do not. The oil scraper rings arent properly performing there job, thus leading to mild smoking upon acceleration, *But... Compression is still great and engine runs. Will need a re-ring job to stop the smoking. Needs WE553K40 rings

Will come with 650cfm 4 barrel carburetor,  MSD ignition box and HEI distributor. Everything from top to bottom.

*****DO HAVE A BMR K MEMBER I CAN ALSO SELL WITH ENGINE FOR $400**** MESSAGE FOR DETAILS

Besides the mild smoking, this engine is in working condition.

Ford 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine is 2014 International Engine of the Year – again

Thu, 26 Jun 2014

The new Fiesta Red & Black get the 140 PS Ecoboost Engine of the Year It’s hard to believe that the little 999cc Ford EcoBoost Engine has been around for a few years now, but that hasn’t diminished the edge it has over engines from other car makers as it takes the gong for best international engine for the third year in a row. Remarkably, the 1.0 litre EcoBoost is now offering sterling service across the most unlikely vehicles, with applications in Ford’s range including the Fiesta, Focus, B-MAX, EcoSport, C-MAX and Grand C-MAX, Tourneo Connect, Grand Tourneo Connect, Transit Connect and Transit Courier. And it’ll be turning up in the new Mondeo when that arrives in a few months too.

Are Jaguar planning to revive the Daimler badge?

Fri, 19 Apr 2013

The Jaguar XJ has always been an impressive car (well, if you ignore some of the periods of unreliability since it launched in the 1960s) and the last ‘traditional, 3-box XJ was very similar under the skin to the new swoopy coupe version that had transformed the fortunes of the XJ in the luxury car market. It just didn’t sell. That was changed with the latest XJ which comes with stunning (if, perhaps, slightly divisive styling).

Prodive’s David Richards looks at Honda F1

Sat, 27 Dec 2008

It was a real surprise that Honda decided to pull out of F1 for 2009. True, they haven’t yet seen the sort of success that their efforts, and money, should have yielded, but they have a superb product and, more importantly, potentially one of the best set-ups in F1 led by the best of the best, Ross Braun, who was pretty much responsible for the renaissance at Ferrari and Michael Shumacher’s domination of the sport. But there could well be a light at the end of the tunnel for the Honda F1 Team.
