Jaguar XK66 is Germany’s farewell to the XK

Mon, 17 Mar 2014

The Jaguar XK66 (pictured) is Jaguar’s pricey goodbye to the XK in Germany We know that Jaguar is ending production of the XK this summer, and the UK already has its run-out special editions in the guise of the Jaguar XK Signature and XK Dynamic R. And now it’s the turn of Germany to get a goodbye XK. The Jaguar XK66 is a limited run XK – just 66 are being built – with the ’66′ moniker referring to the 66 years since the introduction of the XK’s earliest direct ancestor – the Jaguar XK120.

Self-driving Tesla could hit roads within three years

Tue, 01 Apr 2014

Electric car manufacturer Tesla has said that self-driving cars could be a reality within the next three years, with the firm targeting a computer-guided version of its Model S saloon. Tesla chief executive officer Elon Musk said in an interview with the Financial Times that the autonomous driving technology would act like “an autopilot” that could be switched on and off like an aeroplane’s guidance system. New Toyota FT-1 and FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo Concept revealed

Thu, 14 Aug 2014

The new Toyota FT-1 Concept (pictured) will debut at Pebble Beach At the Detroit Motor Show in January, the impressive Toyota FT-1 Concept was revealed, with the general concensus being that it pointed firmly at a future Toyota Supra. And that thought is reinforced with the arrival of a new FT-1 Concept, ahead of a debut at Pebble Beach – and a ‘virtual’ FT-1 Concept in the guise of the Toyota FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo Concept. The new FT-1 Concept comes complete with a new graphite paint job, but perhaps the more interesting aspect is that the interior now looks more upmarket and more appealing.
