Be quick to grab a pair of tickets for the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed The Goodwood Festival of Speed is the highlight of the year for petrolheads from around the world, with a mix of the very best supercars, classic cars and all things related gathering at Goodwood for a three day celebration (well, four if you count the Moving Motor Show tomorrow). But if you’ve left it late to grab tickets, you’re out of luck – they’re all long gone. But we do have a pair of tickets for Sunday up for grabs thanks to Car Loan Warehouse, who kindly phoned us up to offer tickets for a lucky Cars UK reader.

The new Mercedes GLA Edition 1 (pictured) kicks off sales of the new GLA Mercedes has discovered that a launch edition of a new car – with special paintwork and lots opf extras – is a good way to kick off sales so, with the new GLA due to go on sale in November, we get more details on the new Mercedes GLA Edition 1. We reported the GLA Edition 1 would kick off sales of the new GLA range last month, but now Mercedes has sorted out the specs, even if we don’t have a UK price yet (although the ‘Edition 1′ can be had on all the non AMG versions in Germany for an extra €6300). Based on the GLA Urban Line, the Edition 1 comes with faux chrome roof rails and skid guards, bi-xenons, 19″ AMG alloys, black louvres with chrome inserts on the grill, black mirrors and waistline trim and privacy glass and will come with a choice of cirrus white, orient brown metallic, mountain grey metallic and designo magno mountain grey paintwork with ‘Edition 1′ lettering on the wings.

Toyota’s production hydrogen car will be the Toyota Mirai

It looks like this is the Toyota Mirai Toyota are planning to join what looks set to be a bit of a rush by car makers to introduce mainstream hydrogen fuel cell cars with a production version of the Toyota FCV Concept. That production FCV was from Toyota revealed in June, but it didn’t have a name. But it seems, at least according to a report from Bloomberg, that it will be the Toyota Mirai.
