No reserve.  This auction is for some 70 and 71 Skylark/GS tail lenses that came with my 1972 Buick GS 2 door hardtop. Description to follow but first please note I can't always ship things out right away, sometimes it can take a week before I can send a package so if that's an issue please contact me first.   Starting at the bottom, that one is a '70 and in good shape, the reverse light insert has a crack in it, but that's about it.   The middle one is also a '70, has a nice reverse light insert, but the red lens has a piece missing out of each end.  One side isn't real noticeable but the other side is.   The top one is a '71 and also has a piece missing.   I think either of the two broken ones could be fixed by cutting a piece out of one and gluing it into the other, it's mostly around the outer edge so if you do it nice and repaint the silver the repair would probably not be noticeable, or just use it for the one good one.   What you see is what you get.

Everything is as shown, as-is.  Please be patient with the shipping of these items.  I can't always ship out parts immediately after the auction ends.  Sometimes it can take a week or two for shipping.  If this is a problem and you need something right away, be sure to let me know right away and I'll do what I can.

Shipping for this item will be $16 anywhere in the continental US, International bidders, please email me for a quote.  You are welcome to pick this up at my shop near Brillion, Wisconsin if you're in the area.    Feel free to email me with any questions.   Be sure to see my other auctions for more parts, and thanks for looking.

GM Europe weeks from running out of cash

Tue, 03 Mar 2009

By Phil McNamara Motor Industry 03 March 2009 19:03 GM Europe will run out of cash ‘early in the second quarter’ of 2009, unless the divison secures $3.3bn in funding from European governments. Speaking today (Tuesday 3 March), GM chief operating officer Fritz Henderson revealed that insolvency loomed, due to the plunge in European car sales and GM’s liquidity crisis in North America. He ruled out a swift cash injection from private investors, saying that no talks had taken place and that lengthy negotiations and due diligence would take too long.
