Available now for the first time ever.  A complete kit to convert the standard hanging gas pedal in 1970-81 Camaros to the unique floor mounted gas pedal found only in 1970-71 Z-28s.  This is a complete kit with everything needed for installation:  gas pedal cup, gas pedal, ball studs, stainless hardware and a complete instruction manual with step-by-step instructions and color photos.  The gas pedal cup is stamped from a single sheet of quality sheet steel in the same thickness as the original.  The throttle rod is 3/8" steel and has very high quality die formed ends like the original....not welded or hammered like some previous offerings.  These parts are not NOS, but are absolutely correct in fit and appearance.  The finish and quality of materials is second to none.  The cup and rod are so nice that buyers should now beware if buying parts claimed to be "original", OEM or NOS.  Satisfaction guaranteed.  Also included in the kit is a new gas pedal, (see below), two new GM replacement ball studs and two stainless hex nuts.  The installation instructions are easy to follow and installation can be accomplished in a few hours using basic hand tools.

CHANGE:  I have replaced the rubber "GM replacement" gas pedal with a new production pedal that is very close to the original in appearance with tth correct "pebble" grain, vertical ribs and is molded from hard plastic just like the original pedals.  this new pedal is approx. 1" longer than the original, but fits like the original and the additional length is not noticeable when installed.   See photo below of the new floor mounted pedal supplied with this kit.

I accept Paypal or cashier's check from a major US bank.  Flat fee shipping applies to continental US addresses only.  Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada will be extra and calculated at the time of auction close.  Payment in full is due within 5 days of auction close.

The very slightly tweaked 2011 Mercedes ML63 AMG Somehow, the Mercedes ML63 AMG doesn’t quite make it in to our heads when we thing of barking mad, ‘too powerful for their own good’ SUVs. Top of that list is filled by the Porsche Cayenne Turbo with the BMW X5M and X6M bringing up the reserve position. But we should consider it.

Aston Martin eyes Lagonda comeback

Tue, 15 Oct 2013

The last time we saw an Aston Martin Lagonda on the street, it looked like its sharp angles could deflect not only police radar and laser, but give pedestrians a paper cut if they weren't careful. And the last time we saw a Lagonda concept -- at the 2009 Geneva motor show -- it looked like, well, like what you see above. We're still not sure what we see above, and leading scientists aren't sure, either.

Lincoln is promised a unique line

Mon, 17 Jan 2011

Lincoln vehicles will be dramatically different from Ford brand products, Ford Motor Co. executives said last week. "The strategy isn't just new products, but full differentiation from the Ford brand in not only design but in technology," Derrick Kuzak, Ford's group vice president of global product development, told a group of auto analysts at the Detroit auto show.
