70-73 Porsche 911 Red Bosch High-Tone Banjo Horn - For Parts or Restoration

Here's a single Bosch high-tone (short) banjo horn that isn't functioning. The is the plastic bell and banjo part only and a small section of the bell has been repaired. Not a perfect part but if you're restoring a set of these horns then you know that finding any parts at all is nearly impossible. My Porsche parts literature shows Bosch banjo horns as correct for 1970-73 cars but I've also seen them on 1969 cars so they may fit other years as well. I've included multiple high-resolution photos showing the exact condition of this item.

For U.S. customers, I will ship this item for $7.

I’m not a dealer and I don’t do this to make a living. I’m a collector who owns more than a dozen vintage Porsches and the parts I have for sale on eBay are all parts that, at one time or another, were purchased for one of my cars or were actually on one of my cars. I own some of the finest Porsches in the world. I don’t own junk and I don’t sell junk. Thanks for looking.

Google driverless car will let you speed

Tue, 02 Sep 2014

Driverless cars are so clever, aren’t they? The potential to whisk us along in total comfort and relaxation while a silicon chip takes care of the driving may sound like bliss to some. However, despite recent news that self-driving cars will be legally allowed on our roads as early as next year, they might not be as clean cut and infallible as you might think.

Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 (2010) first official pictures

Wed, 31 Mar 2010

This is the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3, a racing version of Merc's incredible Gullwing supercar. Unveiled today at the 2010 New York auto show, it'll start racing in 2011. Correct – the FIA’s GT3 races are designed for ‘near-series’ cars so costs are kept low, and there’s a burgeoning field with everything from R8s and 911s to BMW’s new Z4 racer.
