Up for auction is a used original factory black Mopar lower left side dash trim bezel for 70-74 E-Bodies. This came off of a 1972 Barracuda and has been in storage for years. Audi plans rival to BMW X6, design chief says
Thu, 08 Dec 2011Audi will launch a rival to the BMW X6 and may add a challenger to the Bavarian automaker's X4, a top Volkswagen executive told Automotive News Europe. Walter de' Silva, design boss at Audi parent Volkswagen Group, confirmed that Audi has signed off on plans for the X6 rival. He declined to say when the car would arrive.

U.S. safety officials deny airbag exemption for the Pagani Huayra
Tue, 09 Aug 2011U.S. safety officials have shot down Italian supercar maker Pagani's request that the Huayra coupe be exempted from needing advanced airbags--a move that means Pagani can't legally sell the car in the States. Safety rules require that all new cars sold in the United States be equipped with airbags that can automatically adjust deployment force based on the height and weight of the seat occupant.
