This is an NOS drivers side (LH) engine compartment front apron. I got this panel when I bought up some NOS Ford sheet metal. I was not familiar with the look of the panel and I could not find any part numbers on it so I did some research and it looks to be for an AMC Gremlin/Hornet/Concord. There looks to be different variations of the panel over the years as to where holes are punched out. This panel is in great shape and does not show any serious signs of rust or damage. This is an obsolete part and I am sure they are hard to find in NOS condition. This panel is boxed in a heavier than usual box to assure a safe passage. The box size is 24x16x10 and has a shipping weight of 10 lbs.

I ship packages within 1 business day in most cases, but in rare cases it may take 2 business days. I do my best to only charge the actual shipping costs. All UPS shipments include full value insurance. If the box is to be shipped through USPS Priority Mail it will be shipped with a tracking number.  I do not charge for boxes, stuffing, tape or handling. Thanks

Dacia Duster launched

Tue, 08 Dec 2009

Dacia has launched the Duster in to the European market Dacia is Renault’s Romanian brand and produces its own cars mostly based on Renault underpinnings. It currently offers none of its cars in the UK, but that could change with the Duster, although the initial roll-out doesn’t include RHD versions. The budget conscious Dacia Duster is Renault’s budget arm’s take on a budget, compact SUV.

Saab: Turkey’s Brightwell Holdings & China’s Youngman vie for Saab

Fri, 20 Jan 2012

Will Saab end up in Turkish or Chinese hands? Despite its bankruptcy, it seems China’s Youngman and Turkish equity form Brightwell Holdings ar planning on staging a bid. Saab may be bankrupt – and its car heritage from the Saab Museum up for sale – but that hasn’t stopped interest in Saab as a viable car maker from prospective suitors.

A tribute to Jim Das
