Up for bid is a good set of Edelbrock chrome valve covers removed from a 1977 Trans Am 400 V-8. These look to have been used real good as there is quite a bit of surface rust. Surprisingly, the under sides are real clean. These would be a great candidate to repaint to match / contrast with your engine compartment, and for $16.00 you can’t go wrong. Wed, 26 Feb 2014The Vauxhall Astra VXR Extreme (pictured) gets 300bhp When the Vauxhall Astra Extreme popped its head above the parapet at the end of January as a potential range-topping Astra, we did wonder if it was going to get more power as well as suspension and cosmetic tweaks. It is. Vauxhall still aren’t saying just how powerful the Extreme is, but they do say it will have ‘more than 300 pS if (and probably, when) it goes in to production.
