This is a 16pc set (enough for one car) of plastic clips that attaches the weatherstrip seal to the cowl between the hood and the cowl. These clips will fit all 70 thru 81 Firebird, Trans Am, and Formula cars. These are new NOSR and will replace your missing, old weathered, broken, rusty, or discolored ones on your car. These are exact duplicates of the originals with the correct design, size, and color as the originals that GM used from 77 thru 81 and will replace the original metal ones from years 70 thru 76 as well. Tue, 10 Aug 2010The Mercedes SLS AMG attacks the Isle of Man in the capable hands of DC UK readers and those outside the UK who play silly games to get their hands on the world’s second favourite motoring show – Fifth Gear – may well have seen Tiff Needell pop off to the Isle of Man to borrow a Mercedes SLS AMG David Coulthard was playing with. What David was doing in the Manx Mountains was driving the SLS AMG as fast as he could on the Isle of Man’s unrestricted roads (which were also shut for his convenience) to produce what the film makers are calling ‘The Fastest 3D film ever shot on Land”. The short film – ‘Manx Meister’ – has DC blatting across the top of the IOM at speeds in excess of 160mph.
Volt, Leaf win top safety rating in crash test
Tue, 26 Apr 2011The 2011 Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf electric cars won the highest safety ratings in crash tests performed by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, putting them in the top 57 percent of models tested so far this year. About 80 of 140 vehicles tested among 2011-2012 models have received the Institute's "top safety pick," the group's award for state-of-the-art crash protection that exceeds federal safety rules, Institute spokesman Russ Rader said. The Volt and Leaf received a "good" rating -- the highest of four rankings -- on each of four crash tests, said the Institute, which is funded by auto insurers including State Farm, All-State and Geico.
