This listing is for the power trunk release solenoid and button pictured. The release solenoid is in good condition has been tested and works well. This is an easy option to install with just one hot wire to run to the switch, then to the solenoid. This is a nice used original part that has been discontinued for years and is not reproduced.

Sat, 15 May 2010The Alfa Brera & Alfa Spider get new engines and a new trim option Alfa Romeo introduced new engine options last year on the Alfa 159 – the 1750iTBi Petrol engine and the 2.0 litre JTDm diesel – which are now about to find their way in to the Alfa Brera and Alfa Spider. Which is a far from bad move. The 1750i Turbo manages to deliver 200bhp and a decent amount of torque – 236lb/ft from only 1400rpm – which makes it distinctly brisk – 7.7 & 7.8 seconds respectively to 62 mph for the Brera and Spider.

For many years now they’ve just been fond memories, periodically stimulated by looking at old photos, but cars like these are becoming more and more common on our roads, according to a spokesman from Brittania Rescue: “These cars are stylish and they benefit from cheaper road tax so it’s no surprise they are getting a second lease of life.” The Iconic Audi Quattro - as seen in Life on Mars And frankly, I’m not surprised. There is something hugely appealing about cars from the 70s and 80s.
