Bidding on a black driver side column cover removed from a non a/c 1979 Trans Am. This came from a low mileage car but the part has some issues. Both of the mounting holes are good and three of the four upper hooks are good. There are a couple of holes drilled toward the bottom and a coupe up toward the top as well. Definitely not for a show car (Or even a good driver). This will fit most of the 70-81 f-body firebirds and Trans Ams, but it can be dyed to match your car’s interior. This came from a NON a/c equipped car. A great part if you need something until a better one comes along. Check my other auctions for other parts as I am trying to clean the garage out. Bankruptcy will delay Chrysler's 2010 model launches, exec says
Mon, 04 May 2009Chrysler LLC will be late getting its 2010 vehicles to market because of the automaker's Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, Chrysler manufacturing chief Frank Ewasyshyn testified today. The current shutdown of plants and stresses on suppliers also threaten to delay the 2011 models next year, Ewasyshyn said. The changeover to 2010 models is delayed while Chrysler tries to emerge from bankruptcy within the next 30 to 60 days, he said.

The Scaglietti-designed race car, serial number 0738 TR, is expected be one of the most valuable cars ever offered during Monterey's auction week. “RM set the current world-record price for a car sold at auction with another pontoon-fender TR selling for $12.4 million,” said Rob Myers, chairman and CEO of RM Auctions.
