I recently sold my AAR Cuda, that I purchased in 1980, this was a true AAR Car. The Engine was replaced by Chrysler, to the 2nd owner, in return for him, returning the block to Chrysler (as they were running low on T/A Blocks for trans-am racing) The Engine was rebuilt, in about 1979, using mostly all new parts, with the exception of the T/A Block. I purchased a block when I purchased the car. The Block was purchased from Walter Pusch a racer. Who told me at the time that this block was used at 12,500 many times and it lived to tell the tale. He also told me that the block was repaired properly, and that in a street or strip engine, would be a reliable piece. I recently sent the block out and had it magnaglowed, as well as pressure checked for leaks, all tests checked well. (can be verified)

The car ran well for the two summers that I drove the car, after I spent a small fortune tuning the six pack, the whole upper end of the engine was new in the late 1970s. There was no hesitation, and the car and it’s six pack ran like a “scalded dog”.

Most of the Upper end pieces of the engine have about 2 summers of wear, about 2,500 miles on them, not thousands of miles, as other I have seen.

I was contemplating building this engine, but poor health and too many projects have pushed me in another direction.

The Complete Engine has been in indoor storage its whole life, and the upper end will be disassembled when sold, or a deposit is put on the engine.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ENGINE IS MUCH RARER THAN A 426 HEMI, AS THEY ONLY BUILT ABOUT 5000 UNITS

Feel free to set up an appointment to see this engine and it’s components.

I am a retired Engine Mechanic, from Chrysler and verify that these engine parts are a cut above the rest out there. This is a quality rebuildable engine.

Please note: price does not include shipping, but I will help the buyer ship the engine at his own cost and I will make no money on the shipping- my cost will be your cost.

Ford aims at VW with new 2013 Focus ST video

Sat, 27 Oct 2012

We don’t do much complaining here at Autoweek—unless you’re clogging up the left lane—and overall we know we’re very lucky to be in our position. But we’re not quite as lucky as Ford factory drivers Ken Block and Vaughn Gittin Jr., who get an entire abandoned neighborhood to play around in with the new Focus ST. Block grabs the Focus and Gittin Jr.
