Here we have a nice pair of 1970 Mustang Front High Back Bucket Seats from a Mach 1 or Grande that have been in storage for over 20 years. This extra clean set has the highly desirable option of electrically operated automatic seat back releases. Offered as a convenience upgrade on high end cars such as the Thunderbird, Ford enginners adapted this option to dress up their Mustangs and Cougars. A simple wiring lead from the door jamb harness to the upper seat back would automatically release the seat tops when the door is opened, eliminating the need for using the handle on the seat. Recovered early in their life they are sporty looking set with vinyl outside trim and a comfortable cloth insert in the middle.

We have cleaned and inspected this set of frames and found the padding and springs to be in excellent condition. The vinyl is not brittle or tattered and the cloth inserts are in good shape with only a couple of flaws. As an added bonus we are including a nice set of tracks that are free moving and functioning as designed for a simple bolt in and enjoy purchase.

This ginger front set is complete, and although this set is presentable and usable, we are sure those with pristine or show cars will want to make a trip to the upholstery shop to meet your exacting standards. We would rather under sell it than under sell it, since we know the concours buyer often expects more than we can deliver.

Don't miss the chance to add this rarely seen, ultimate interior option of automatic electric seat releases to your Mach 1. This pair of 43 year old seats that would be in good enough condition to install in a daily driver and we're sure this set will please most if not all!

This is just a part of our extensive inventory of front seats, rear seats, high and low back bucket seats, fold downs, convertible as well as fastback back seats and other related parts and accessories that we select from for our weekly eBay auctions.  Mustang Masters - Your One Stop Parts Shop on eBay!

U.S. Residents: We accept Credit card and Paypal payments. For your convenience other forms of payment options are also available, please notify us of your payment preference before bidding. If you wish to pay COD and are close enough to pick up the item feel free to contact us to make an appointment.

International Customers: We do not accept Paypal on international orders. Please do not bid if this is your method of payment. Per company policy, international customers must contact us before bidding to receive payment instructions. Please e-mail us, as we must pre-approve the method of payment in order for it to be valid.

Florida Residents will be charged the standard 7% sales tax.

Nissan launches new Note with digital flipbook

Tue, 04 Sep 2012

Nissan has developed an inventive way of advertising its new Note hatchback on its Japanese website – using a digital flipbook called ‘Long scroll, Long Drive, Long Life'. The start of the flipbook sees a couple getting into the Note and as you scroll down, the car begins to weave through Tokyo roads, while information at the side of the screen tells you in detail about the car's features and performance. Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo (2011) launches

Fri, 09 Jul 2010

The Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo 2011 debuted at Goodwood If you went down to the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend you may well have come across Alpina’s latest offering – the Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo – which, following the news yesterday that BMW have retired the current generation (E60) M5 and that you’ll have to wait intil next year for the new M5 – is the only way to hop in to a brand new ‘Hot’ 5 series for at least the next 9 months. Not only is the Alpina B5 the only really quick 5 series on the market now, it will also be a lot less ubiquitous in the long run than BMW’s own M5. A lot to be said for that.

Lotus offers supercharger kits for the Elise and the Exige

Mon, 03 Aug 2009

Lotus enthusiasts looking to wring a little more power out of their rides now have a potent option: a supercharger kit for the Elise and Exige models. The kits boost power in the naturally aspirated versions from about 189 hp to 218 hp and improve torque from 133 lb-ft to 155 lb-ft. Even better, this added power comes on quicker, with peak torque coming on at 5,000 rpm, rather than 6,800 rpm.
