Up for sale is used 1970's Chevrolet Small block engine. I have had it in my storage building for over 20 years so I do not remember what it came out of, Maybe a Camaro Impala Chevelle C10 C20 C30 Monte Carlo Chevy11 ElCamino etc. or how good it is, but count on a rebuild so you will not be surprised if it needs one. It looks like I wrote with a paint marker on the end of the head what looks like "bad" but I dont remember what is bad or even writing it but it looks like my writing, so count on it needing a overhaul and if it dont, you will be ahead. It has what is left of the original Chevvy orange paint on it. There is expected surface rust that will be on a engine sitting for years. Here are some of the numbers on different parts of the engine. Block; 3970010 on back of block behind bellhousing. Head; 388882 .  It has a layer of sludge on the block valley. I did not find any visible cracks on outside of block. I am selling this where is as is so there is no kind of guarantee on it what so ever and you will have to pick it up or arrange to get it shipped. I have another one similar to it on another listing. Motorists Still Paying A High Price At The Pumps

THE LATEST report from the AA highlights the depressing fact that motorists continue to cough up when filling up at the pumps. According to the motoring organisation, average petrol prices at the pumps are staying "stubbornly above" 130p a litre despite discounts in many areas. While a number of fortunate motorists have been getting petrol for around 128p a litre of late, the average price nationwide is 130.46p a litre, the AA said.
