NEW high performance master rebuild kit for the 1982-1984 700R4 (4L60) This kit contains all Red Raybestos HP clutches and Kolene Steel plates, including the Raybestos Red 8 clutch 3-4 pack. Also included is a Kevlar band, Transtec soft parts kit with every rubber seal and gasket that you'll need to complete your rebuild. The kit comes with a new filter, and now with a FULL bushing kit. The kit comes with everything that you'll need for a full high performance rebuild. A comparable kit from other dealers could easily run $350+. Please specify the year of your transmission after your purchase. Remember to soak all of your clutches in tranny fluid for thirty minutes before you install them. GM expands brake-override safety feature
Mon, 05 Apr 2010General Motors is significantly expanding the use of a brake-override safety feature in its cars through the end of 2012. GM announced on Monday that it will add the software, which it also calls “enhanced smart-pedal technology,” in all of its passenger cars with automatic transmissions and electronic throttle control. The change will reduce power to the engine when both the throttle and brakes are pressed at the same time.

The result is a 750-hp, 228-mph missile that topped the Brabus Rocket on the speed chart.
