This is a NEW super heavy duty, stock stall speed, lockup torque converter for 1985-93 TH700-R4, 1993-96 4L60E, 30 spline transmissions. This converter will be perfect for heavy towing, big tire applications and high HP. (Does not fit 2.8L, 3.1L, 3.4L engines) This balanced and pressure tested converter is fully brazed and has larger diameter Torrington bearings, billet flanged hub, and the HD carbon metalic lockup clutch. The stall speed on this converter will be 1400-1500 RPM and will be fine for up to 600 hp. Just like all torque converters, your actual stall speed will depend on your vehicle; HP, torque, etc. The more power you have the higher your stall speed. This is why most companies give a range of stall speeds. There is absolutely “no” core charge, or need to return a core.
