This is a NEW super heavy duty, stock stall speed, lockup torque converter for 1985-93 TH700-R4, 1993-96 4L60E, 30 spline transmissions. This converter will be perfect for heavy towing, big tire applications and high HP. (Does not fit 2.8L, 3.1L, 3.4L engines) This balanced and pressure tested converter is fully brazed and has larger diameter Torrington bearings, billet flanged hub, and the HD carbon metalic lockup clutch. The stall speed on this converter will be 1400-1500 RPM and will be fine for up to 600 hp. Just like all torque converters, your actual stall speed will depend on your vehicle; HP, torque, etc. The more power you have the higher your stall speed. This is why most companies give a range of stall speeds. There is absolutely “no” core charge, or need to return a core. Lamborghini revealed the hugely anticipated Sesto Elemento concept at the 2010 Paris motor show. Based on the Gallardo supercar, the Sesto Elemento (six elements in the Italian sports car maker's native tongue) is a technological marvel, created entirely in carbon fiber to bring the vehicle's overall weight down to less than 1000kg. Read our opinions of the Sesto Elemento concept in our 2010 Paris Motor Show Highlights, and see the photo gallery (which includes all six teaser photos) by clicking the link below.
Land Rover are increasing the supply of the new Range Rover Evoque to the US by a third to help meet demand. In the land where cubic inches are king and any SUV smaller than a Hummer isn’t really an SUV, it’s amazing that the dinky Range Rover Evoque is a hit – but it is. From sales of just 2,200 Evoques in 2011, Land Rover has managed to shift twice that in the first six months of 2012, and Land Rover dealers are still complaining they can’t get enough Evoques to meet demand.
We continue our review / road test of the Peugeot 308 S
The 308 range as a whole can stretch north of £22,000 as a base price, which is far too much money for what’s on offer. But this car – the Peugeot 308 S HDi 90 – comes in at a more reasonable £16,955. Our car did have a few extras thrown at it - metallic paint (£410) and SatNav (£715) – which pushed it up over £18k.
