The Professional Products pumps are similar in physical size and appearance to Walbro or Airtex pumps with one very important difference. This pump has 1/4-NPT pipe threads on both the inlet and outlet port which allows users the flexibility of a wide range of fuel line connection fittings. If you want to connect to a 3/8" hose, use Professional Products fitting #10244. To connect to a -6AN hose end, use Professional Products adapter fitting #15242. See horsepower ratings below to select the proper pump for your particular installation. This pump operates at 45 PSI of fuel pressure. This comes with an extruded aluminum mounting clamp which also acts as a heat sink.

London's GPS-based speed-limit trial puts Big Brother's foot on the gas pedal

A fleet of 12 Toyota Priuses in London have been fitted with GPS-linked speed limiters to measure how drivers respond to having their speed controlled by a computer rather than their own feet. For now, the trial is local to London, run by Transport for London, the agency that manages the city's roads, buses, subways and trains. The agency is using its own fleet of Priuses for the test and will add a bus and a taxi later this year.
