This carburetor was built by Carter for Rochester (GMC) because they were having a hard time keeping up with demand for them so it is marked "MFD BY CARTER CARBURETOR FOR GMC" the letters EO are the date code that translates to May 1970 the DH is the plant code that matched the code on the build sheet for the car being built.
Used taken from running car several years ago. Stored in a box on a shelf high and dry. Codes Stamped are EO and DH. Should be cleaned and rebuilt. |

Helicopter crashes while filming driverless Audi
Fri, 17 Sep 2010A helicopter crashed near the summit of Pike's Peak in Colorado on Friday while filming a test run of Audi's self-guided vehicle. Local media reports say the pilot is in critical condition and that the three passengers are stable. The crew was filming Audi's autonomous TTS as part of a project to ascend Pike's Peak, just west of Colorado Springs, Colo., in order to demonstrate the abilities of advanced driverless and GPS systems.
