I have up for auction a 1971 PONTIAC 400 / 455 General Motors Carter Carburetor. This carb would have been correct for a GTO / Lemans and possible a Firebird or Trans Am with the Pontiac 400 / 455 engine and an AUTOMATIC transmission. Carb is used and pretty clean and all parts move freely. See Pictures and judge for yourself. The numbers on this carb are: 7041262 LO XA Will work on other Pontiac GM engines too, Grand Am, Grand Prix, Lemans, GTO, Tempest, Firebird, Trans Am, Esprit, Formula, T-37, etc., w/ 350, 400 & 455. This carb is being sold as is , for parts or rebuilder. I recommend a rebuild on all carbs before using if perfection is desired. There may be missing parts that I am not aware of, see pictures and determine for yourself. DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK AND MAKE SURE THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT BEFORE PLACING A BID.
