I have up for auction a 1972 BUICK 455 800 CFM Carburetor. This carb would have been correct for a Stage 1 GSX or GS with a Buick 455 engine and an AUTOMATIC transmission. Carb is a little dusty and dirty but all parts move freely. See Pictures and judge for yourself. The numbers on this carb are: 7042240 MB 0972 Will work on other GM engines too, Grand sport, Electra, Riviera, Skylark, Apollo, Century, w/ 400 430 403 & 455. This carb is being sold as is , for parts or rebuilder. I recommend a rebuild on all carbs before using if perfection is desired. There may be missing parts that I am not aware of, see pictures and determine for yourself. DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK AND MAKE SURE THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT BEFORE PLACING A BID. Lincoln gets own design studio
Tue, 16 Aug 2011Ford is creating a dedicated design studio for its luxury brand Lincoln in an ongoing bid to rejuvenate the brand and position it further apart from the core Ford offering. The new design studio will be situated in the Product Development Center in Dearborn, Michigan, with Max Wolff – recruited from Cadillac last year – charged with leading the brand in its revival efforts. Ford has also announced that it will be increasing spending on the brand, giving it unique interiors and powertrains.

Mon, 19 Apr 2010SEAT has revealed the 2011 Alhambra After we had the official reveal of the 2010 VW Sharan last month at Geneva, it’s not a huge shock that we now get the reveal of SEAT’s version of the Sharan – the SEAT Alhambra. We don’t think SEAT had planned on revealing the Alhambra quite yet, but there are undisguised spy shots flying around the Interweb so they obviously decided to be pragmatic and send out some info – and pictures – earlier than planned. Just like the Sharan, the latest Alhambra is an all new job based on VW’s new flexible MQB platform so, just like the Sharan, the Alhambra is wider and longer than the current model, but also weighs less.
