LIQUIDATING MY 30 YEAR COLLECTION OF ANTIQUE TOOLS & TOOL CATALOGS

This is MAC Tools catalog #71, dated 1971   All the general automotive tools of the day with many specialties. Nicely illustrated/photographed catalog with 165 pages including index,  in part color, cardstock covers  8 1/2" x 11"  full size format.  This catalog is in good overall condition with lightly scuffed covers, interior mostly clean and complete. Binding edge is partially torn at the lower edge with tight binding.  This catalog was produced without page numbers 98-104 and the index contains no tools listed on these pages, a common occurrence in MAC catalogs.  It's priced accordingly.

MAC was a direct competitor to all the major tooling manufacturers such as Bonney, Cornwell, Herbrand, OTC,  Snap-On and others. Since 1938 they have remained a strong competitor producing a quality product and still exist as a going-concern nearing their 80th year anniversary. Their fine old tools have survived the years and can still be found in the tool boxes of professional mechanics, at swap meets, eBay and estate sales.
