BAC Mono wins Supercar Class at Cholmondeley

The BAC Mono has won the Supercar Class at the 2012 Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, just a year from the Mono’s launch and in its first competitive event. The cynical might have imagined that the debut of the BAC Mono as yet another racer for the road from a  company most have never heard of would be another two minute wonder – loads of promise and little reality. The Lego Land Rover Defender A Lego building genius called Sheepo has built a perfect scale version of a Land Rover Defender 110 out of Lego. And it works. The odd ‘Castle’ or maybe an intricate wall was probably as far as any of us ever got with Lego, but a Lego building master calling himself Sheepo has put together an awe-ispiring scale model of a Land Rover Defender 110 built entirely out of the little plastic bricks (and some Lego extras).

RAPE AND sex assaults could rise due to plans to allow minicab owners to lend their vehicles out to anyone when not at work, police bosses have warned. A cross-party group of Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) across England and Wales said planned deregulation will lead to a "free-for-all". Currently, only licensed private hire drivers can drive a marked private hire vehicle, drivers have to be regularly re-licensed and there are restrictions on vehicles operating across local authority boundaries.
