Condition:Used Brand:Volkawagen Warranty:No

1 Autostick with parts. Complete unit. Was removed by Mark1 VW in Frederick, MD to do a complete manual swap in a 71' Super Beetle. The Beetle was owned by my grandfather since 1977. The car sat from @1982-1999 when it was taken out and made road worthy and was driven for about 100 miles and was parked again in the garage until about a month ago when I got it. I'm fixing it up and wanted a manual trans in it so I got the swap done. The trans has 68,245 miles on it. Servo works. The only issue is that the dry clutch is rusted to the disc. When the servo moves, the clutch depresses but it is stuck to the disc. I have all paperwork and emails form Mark1 to verify everything. Prefer not to ship but would meet or deliver if discussed. Everything pictured is included. Shifter, pedals, shift rod, everything.

Audi R8 e-Tron revealed

Mon, 14 Sep 2009

First pictures of the electric Audi R8 - the Audi R8 e-Tron The pictures here have leaked out of Audi, and clearly show that the e-Tron is very much Audi R8, albeit with some changes. The grill is changed, as are the wheels and rear end. The interior has very little resemblance to the R8, partly because this is an electric car and a concept.

Intermot Motorcycle Show 2004

Wed, 23 Mar 2005

Motorcycle design is a term that conjures up many images to different people. To the majority North Americans, designing a motorcycle suggests a garage where several enthusiasts resembling the hit TV show Orange County Choppers assemble bikes based on the Harley Davidson model, with acres of chromed after market parts and hand lacquered custom paint jobs.To many others no thought is given at all to how the shapes of the bikes on the street came into being. The reality is that the major motorcycle manufacturers employ professional designers and serious technology the same way as in the car industry does, even if the final product is so different.
