1- Authentic and original print Porsche Driver's Manual book (4641.23   8 M  VII/71   Edition 72) for 1972 Porsche 914 chassis:  1.7 liter (4 cylinder) models --- this owner's manual is New (Old Stock) in pristine condition for the age as it has never been used in a glove-box! - 84 pages in total - the original spiral spine is in perfect condition with no missing or broken links - minor age related yellowing is noticed around the edge of some pages and the rear cover - front and rear covers show minor wear and blemish - the rear cover shows edge yellowing and some minor de-lamination - please see photos!

Top Gear in Lecce filming a supercar piece We already know that Top Gear’s Christmas Special is in India this year, so the video showing the Top Gear team filming in Lecce, Italy, with the Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren MP4-12C and Noble M600 must be for the new series of Top Gear, which kicks off on January 12th 2012. Lecce is an historic Italian city in the south east of Italy, full of Baroque architecture, tracing its history back to the Greeks and is probably most famous for its ‘Lecce Stone’, a soft and malleable limestone ideal for sculpting. None of which really matters to Messrs Clarkson, Hammond and May, although it does provide a stunning backdrop for an equally stunning set of supercars.

Petrol sales hit record low in July

FEARS of a 4p-a-litre rise in prices at the pumps sent petrol sales crashing to an all-time July low. The rise turned out to be only 1.5p a litre but it led to July petrol consumption dipping to 1.44 billion litres, down nearly 100 million litres on June, according to Government figures highlighted by the AA. The AA said petrol retailers and others had predicted that the UK's average cost of petrol would rise by up to 4p a litre in July.

KOREAN car maker Kia has released a teaser image ahead of a big reveal at next month’s Detroit motor show. Keen to take a slice of the global sports car market, the firm is to unveil a racy-looking concept car. To date Kia has resisted producing anything overtly performance orientated, although earlier this year it dipped its toe in the water with the launch of the Pro Cee’d GT ‘warm hatch’.
