This is a genuine original NOS back up switch used on 72-73 Mustang with 3 speed manual transmission (from 5/15/72), 75-76 Granada with floor shift manual transmission, 73-77 Maverick with 3 speed floor shift manual transmission. P/N D2ZZ-15520-A with "D2ZB-15546-AA" stamping. An excellent original Ford product.

What it really means is that it was and is still NEW and has never been installed on a vehicle.
