72 Ford Maverick Grabber Gas Cap Oem Fomoco 1970 1971 1972 1973 1974 1975 on 2040-parts.com
West End, North Carolina, US
This auction is for the gas cap from a 1972 Ford Maverick 2 door coupe. Item is used and is being sold "AS-IS" and with NO REFUNDS. Also fits other production years, so check a sourcebook for your specific application before you bid.
No show piece by any means, but might work for a daily driver if you're not very picky. There's some scuffing & scratches in the chrome surface from use. There's two small dings in the cap at the top, (see picture 2). There's also a scuff mark that took off part of the lasso, (also see picture 2). The maverick logo is noticeably worn down from age. Gasket on back is dry rotted. There is surface rust and heavy pitting on the back side.
** Check out my other auctions for a few more parts from the same 1972 Maverick. If you don't see it listed, then I don't have it and the car was already crushed. Wasn't much left worth saving off this one when it came in...
I never end my auctions early so don't bother asking or I will just delete your emails...

Called the Tata Prima (meaning 'first' in Italian), the luxury sedan concept is the first official project of the Tata-Pininfarina cooperation. Based on the platform of the Tata Indigo - the first Indian sedan - the Prima is an indication of how future Tata sedans could look.
What makes EyesOn Design judging special?
Thu, 30 Apr 2009One of the very unique features of the EyesOn Design car show, held annually at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, is the judging of a category of cars by a group of visually impaired judges - members of the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology's (DIO) adult support group. They meet monthly from September through June and, in early Spring, they are given a description of the various vehicle categories and a list of what cars will be in each of them. They then discuss their options and select a category that is of special interest to them.
