This auction is for one (1) trunk light and one (1) glovebox light-both are used.

Taken from a 1973 Pontiac Grandville convertible, but these should be usable in lots of GM full size cars of this era--check your apps before you bid.

Condition of both lights are about average for their age. Both are reasonably clean, intact and not cracked or broken in any way. The glovebox light has been tested and the switch works as it should. The trunk light has been tested and the mercury switch inside it works as it should. Includes 2 working light bulbs.

Decent replacements for missing, broken, or non-functioning originals.

No reserve.

The glovebox light will need the terminal removed (terminal helps hold bulb in), and the end of your existing wiring (and terminal) will need to be inserted. To remove the terminal, there is a tiny slot in the side of the housing--simply insert a small slotted screwdriver and "compress" the terminal-it will then slide out--reinsert your wiring/terminal back into the slot.

Driver receives 45 points in nine months

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

Mitsubishi The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) has uncovered the ‘top 20’ driving licence penalty points holders in the UK – revealing that one man from Liverpool has racked up an incredible 45 points, beating the previous record of 42. But what’s truly astonishing about this is that he ‘achieved’ the 45-point tally in just nine months, between 1 October 2012 and 20 June 2013 – and what’s more, he’s apparently still driving. Top Gear presenters banned from driving in France50,000 new drivers lose licence within two years The penalty points were received for eight separate offences, and either failing to disclose the identity of the driver or exceeding the statutory speed limit on a public road.

Top 5 most important cars at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show

Wed, 11 Sep 2013

The five most important memorable cars in attendance at the world’s biggest motor show Nothing is as controversial as irritating your core enthusiasts, and the Audi Sport Quattro concept risks doing just that. Its name and styling riff off one of the most iconic cars in Audi’s back catalogue – and in WRC history – yet the new yellow version unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show has abandoned the five-cylinder engine, manual gearbox, and respectable kerbweight of the 2010 Quattro concept. In its place, we’ve an RS7-based coupe with the power of a Lamborghini Aventador (691bhp), twice the claimed economy of a Golf GTD (113mpg), but only because of a twin-turbo V8 mated to a hefty hybrid powertrain, and that means this new Sport Quattro weighs as much as a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (1845kg).
