Here is the factory instrument cluster that came out of a 78 c20.  This truck came in non running, so I never seen anything work.  Odometer reads 63,800 miles.  Far tab is not broke off like most clusters are.  Which is a very typical problem.  But the little plastic tab that would hold the shifter indicator cable tight, is broken, which is typical too.  If you truck is a manual you take the shifter indicator out, and it would not matter.  It only has 2 screws that hold it in.  Shifter indicator and cable is good.  I did not see any other cracks or breaks, beside the broken tab for the shifter indicator.  If you wanted to use it, I am sure you could rig up something to keep tension on the cable so it would read ok.  This gauge is for mechanical oil pressure.  Which means it had a small oil line running into the back.  Most 80's trucks has electrical oil pressure.  So you might want to check that out before bidding or buying.  Lense has some typical minor scratches, but nothing major.  Check out the pictures good.  We ship world wide.  If you need help figuring shipping costs feel free to ask.  Everything is sold as is.  All sales are final.

Thanks

Ford gets another NO on Volvo

Thu, 05 Feb 2009

And the beat goes on… Ford has been trawling the world’s car manufacturers (and Governments) for what seems like forever, in an increasingly desperate attempt to off-load its Swedish subsidiary, Volvo. They appear to have tried everyone from the Swedish Government to BMW and Mercedes, with a fair dose of Chinese firms in between (has Ford offered to sell it to you yet? Don’t worry, it won’t be long!) And now Reuters are reporting that yet another Chinese Car Co has declined the offer.
