Up for grabs here I have a set of 4 Genuine NOS GM Chevy Truck Hubcaps dog dish style. These are 12 inch for 3/4 ton trucks with 16" & 16.5" rims. These DO NOT have the original boxes they were not salvageable. These are genuine NOS and have never been on any truck. A very very nice find. Please note these have been stored 30+ years the rears are flawless truly amazing. The 2 front do have some places the black has flaked off the fronts will need some paint touch up to be perfect. No dents or dings anywhere. Touch up the black and these are show ready. The rears are definitely show worthy as they are basically perfect. As with all my items these are sold As Is. UK buyers plugging into electric cars
Wed, 07 May 2014Renault New figures suggest UK motorists are charged up about electric vehicles (EVs), with a record number of zero-emission cars now on Britain’s roads. Figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) suggest there are more than 10,000 electric cars on the road today, with as many as 1,200 EVs sold in March alone. In the midst of an EV revolution Compare that to the lowly 270 that were sold during the same month in 2013 and it becomes hard to argue that we’re not in the midst of an EV revolution, especially when you combine the figures with the 10,200 hybrid cars sold so far in 2014, up by 45% on last year.
Volkswagen's de'Silva aims for positive influence on Porsche styling
Mon, 11 Oct 2010Volkswagen Group design director Walter de'Silva hopes to add "something positive" to the design of Porsche's new models, beginning with the Cajun SUV. Porsche AG is set to become Volkswagen AG's 10th brand and Porsche design director Michael Mauer now reports to de'Silva, along with the heads of the styling centers of the other VW group brands such as Skoda, Seat, Bentley and Lamborghini. De'Silva said he has just started working with Mauer and their relationship is off to a good start.
Lexus RC F Coupe: OFFICIAL
Thu, 09 Jan 2014The Lexus RC F (pictured) revealed ahead of its Detroit debut The Lexus RC F Coupe has been revealed ahead of its debut at Detroit next week, and it looks very promising. Lexus aren’t being specific about its output, but they do say the RC F is “the most powerful V8 performance road-going car ever developed by Lexus” with over 450bhp. That makes the RC F more powerful than the BMW M4 or the Audi RS5 which should mean the Lexus will be able to hold its own with the hot coupés from Germany, with a 0-62mph in the low 4 seconds.
