Based on the Gallardo supercar, the Sesto Elemento (six elements in the Italian sports car maker's native tongue) is a technological marvel, created entirely in carbon fiber to bring the vehicle's overall weight down to less than 1000kg. Alfa Romeo 4C concept

Following the limited production run of the 8C super car, Alfa Romeo unveiled its new sports car at the Geneva motor show – the 4C. The compact, lightweight and mid-engined sports car is a departure from anything Alfa Romeo is producing at the moment. Taking influence from the 8C's strongest attributes, it also mixes in a new design language for the Italian brand.

Porsche plans a major expansion of its product range by the middle of the decade. CEO Matthias Mueller has promised at least one new model a year, starting with the redesigned 911 that arrives in February. An SUV that is smaller than the Cayenne will be added, along with an entry-level roadster.
