Bidding on an emissions charcoal canister removed from a 1977 Trans Am with only 76k miles and the W72 motor installed. You get the pictured part in great driver condition and ready for installation. The canister is not broken or damaged, but does have some white overspray on it. It is probably not serviceable, unless you refill the contents. This is a genuine GM part so you can’t go wrong. These were usually thrown away over the years but if you are restoring an early Trans Am, you will need this part. You also get the correct attaching bracket. A great auction if you are on a budget and yours is missing or tore up. I will have other canisters listed as well. Wed, 12 Oct 2011Saab deal with China not valid says Pangda Chairman Update 10 am 12/10/11: Saab & Pangda have issued a statement about this story and say that the reports of the Saab deal with Pangda and Youngman as being no longer valid are “…based on a misunderstanding”. Whatever that means. Yesterday there was yet more speculation that Saab will be declared bankrupt as real doubt about the deal with Chinese companies Pangda and Youngman started to surface.

Mon, 02 Feb 2009Audi will offer a hybrid version of its Q5 premium SUV in the US starting in late 2010, says Wolfgang Hatz, head of powertrain development for the Volkswagen group. If the car is a success in the US, Audi said it may launch it in Europe. In an interview at the auto show here last month, Hatz said Audi must offer a hybrid model to compete with rival vehicles that already offer the technology, such as the Lexus RX 400h.
