Bidding on a nice set of dark blue coat hooks removed from a 1979 Trans Am. These came from a low mileage car and are in great condition. These are factory dark blue in color and come with the correct mounting screws. You rarely see these and I was asked to list these so here you go. These will fit the 74-81 f-body firebirds and Trans Ams. You don’t these very often especially in this condition! A great auction if yours are missing or busted. 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra sells for $7.25 million at Monterey auction
Mon, 17 Aug 2009The championship-winning 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe CSX2601 sold for a record $7.25 million on Saturday at an auction in Monterey. The sale is believed to be a record for an American car at auction. Bob Bondurant drove it to victory in the 12 Heures du Reims--fittingly on the Fourth of July in 1965 to secure the FIA title.
McLaren to bring F1 GTR, LM and Longtail to Goodwood
Tue, 18 Jun 2013McLaren is taking the 24 Hours of Le Mans off this year -- actually, it has taken the last 14 years off -- and is instead concentrating on a British tradition: the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The company confirmed it would bring the 1995 Le Mans-winning McLaren F1 GTR to take on the hill this year. It will be joined by the one-off prototype McLaren F1 LM, as well as the Gulf-liveried McLaren F1 GTR Longtail, which claimed second place in 1997.
