Bidding on an emissions charcoal canister removed from a 1978 Firebird Redbird with a 350 Chevy motor. You get the pictured part in great driver condition but it is not functional. Most of the inner material is gone so this is for appearance only. So if you want a correct looking engine bay, this is for you. Or you can source the inner filling and make it functional. This is a genuine GM part so you can’t go wrong. This should fit a lot of the Chevy motored Firebirds and Camaros, but please do the research before bidding. A great auction if you are on a budget and yours is missing or tore up. I will have other canisters listed as well. Rohan Saparamadu appointed Chief Designer at Maruti-Suzuki
Thu, 03 Sep 2009Rohan Saparamadu has been appointed Chief Designer and Advisor to Styling at Delhi, India-based Maruti-Suzuki. Saparamadu, a veteran of GM Design for the last 23 years, was offered the position after he accepted an early retirement from the automotive giant late last year. "The company was good and that's what kept me there all those years," Saparamadu told CDN of his career at General Motors.

Wed, 23 Oct 2013The Honda S660 Concept (pictured) will debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show It looks like Honda is making a return to the Kei car with the arrival of the Honda S660 Concept ahead of the Tokyo Motor Show next month. The Kei class of car in Japan is small (less than 3.4 metres long) and comes with a raft of tax breaks for buyers, but despite it being designed just for Japan it’s gained a cult following round the world, and now the Honda Beat for the 21st century has arrived in the form of the S660 concept. The S660 Concept – it gets the required maximum 660cc Kei engine limit – is a mid-engined open top roadster that manages to deliver 64bhp from its 3-cylinder engine which, with a weight under 900kg, should be reasonably lively.

Kia has obviously been careful with its concept naming this time after the storm in a teacup response to the Kia Provo last year, with a name that shouts ‘Famous Actor’ rather than ‘Famous Terrorist’. Sensible move.
