77 MAICO 400AW UP PIPE, AFTERMARKET, USED. Removed from a Maico motocross bike with frame serial #3300907 and motor serial #R3232188. Aftermarket up pipe to fit the 76/77 Maico 400 and 440 AWs. Not sure who made this. I was told it was a Wheel Smith but I never tried to confirm that. Pipe has some cracks welded/repaired at the top elbow. I was going to cut that section out and replace with new tubing but never got to this project. The mounts are good and no major dents. It is a solid pipe, not rotted out. I cannot ship this to Australia due to its size. 2013 Land Rover Range Rover sheds weight with all-aluminum unibody
Thu, 06 Sep 2012Land Rover publicly unveiled its redesigned 2013 Range Rover five-seat SUV in London on Thursday, with less weight and better fuel economy than its predecessors thanks in large part to a new all-aluminum unibody structure--the first of its kind in an SUV, according to Land Rover. The company also announced that European Range Rover buyers will get a diesel hybrid option. The Range Rover hybrid will pair a 3.0-liter diesel engine with a 35kw electric motor.
Volvo V60 Polestar teased again (probably)
Sat, 23 Nov 2013Volvo V60 Polestar teased again Last week we had a teaser video from Volvo of what we think is probably a proper performance version in the guise of the Volvo V60 Polestar. Now, ahead of a reveal that seems to be scheduled for Tuesday (23 rd November), Volvo and Polestar are back at the tease game with a couple of new images which still leave a bit of ambiguity, but which do seem to be pointing to a V60 Polestar. The front end of the Polestar tease (above) does seem to show a butch front end for the V60, and the interior shot shows the flappy paddles and steering wheel from the interior.
Chrysler adds sporty S trim features to the 200 sedan and convertible
Tue, 19 Apr 2011Chrysler is looking to add a little sport to the Chrysler 200 sedan and convertible with the addition of the S trim line. Don't expect anything too extreme--the S package consists of some interior and exterior upgrades, and a few suspension revisions. Changes include unique 18-inch wheels with painted black pockets, a grille with an S model-only winged badge and black background headlights.
