This auction is for two (2) power window switches and two (2) power lock switches-all are used.

Taken from a 1977 Oldsmobile Toronado, but I'm sure these were used in other GM models, and model years, also--check your apps before you bid. These switches have a metal housing, not plastic. The numbers on the lock switches are 9718123. The numbers on the single (passenger's side) window switch are 571925(4?). The double window switch has no numbers.

Condition is about average for their age. There's some light fingernail scratches from use, but the chrome is not flaking on any of them. The switches all move, and return to center, as they should. The electrical terminals are intact and reasonably clean. These switches have not been tested, but all came from one dry, enclosed car.

Not for a concours resto, but should be perfectly usable to replace missing, broken, or severely corroded originals.

No reserve.

THIRD time’s going to be the charm for McLaren, as the Woking-based firm has unveiled its third supercar ahead of a public debut at the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show. Hot on the heels of the P1 hypercar, the new 650S slots between the firm’s flagship motor and already established 12C. With bold claims of race car-like performance while retaining the luxury and refinement of its premium supercar rivals, McLaren has revealed that the 650S can sprint to 124mph from rest – the industry standard 200kph – in a blistering 8.4 seconds.

Victor Muller on Saab escapade: 'Painful'

Thu, 23 May 2013

Reports say that the Swedish government wants to question former Saab chairman Victor Muller as part of an inquiry into suspected tax offenses at Saab. Muller defended payments he received from the automaker in a recent interview with me and talked about how he has moved on from painful memories of Saab. The Dutch entrepreneur rejected criticisms that his 600,000 euro ($773,000) annual pay package at Saab was too large.
