Honda AC-X Concept

The Honda AC-X plug-in hybrid sedan will form part of the company's seven concept vehicle strategy at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. From the images released by Honda, the AC-X appears similar in both size and proportion to the hydrogen fuel cell-powered FCX Clarity, with its a-pillars and windscreen base pulled far forwards, a smooth transition over its nose, screen, roof and rear deck and an elongated, sharply cut-off tail. Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 certified at 662 hp!

You might recall that a few scant minutes ago, Ford had declined to confirm that the 2013 Mustang Shelby GT500 was certified by the SAE to crank out no less than 662 hp and 630 lb-ft of torque. In light of the leak, Ford has reversed its decision and decided to officially confirm the number. The rumors, apparently, were off by one foot-pound of torque.

The Tesla Model S has been a long time coming, but Tesla now say that the first Model S cars will start to arrive with customers in the US in June, slightly ahead of schedule – which must be a first for Tesla. The first 1,000 deliveries will be of the range-topping Signature Series cars which come with the big 85kWh battery pack and lots of toys and cosmetic embellishments, but after that it’s regular Model S deliveries, although the cheaper versions with smaller battery packs and lower range won’t arrive until later.
