Description:

Very rare: Original owner's manuals set for: 1978 Porsche (classic chassis) 911 SC models. This is an authentic, original print, period correct and vintage Porsche literature set!

This manual set is NOT a recently circulated item. It has been in our possession for at least the last 10 years and prior to ours, it was in another collector's possession for well over two decades!

List of contents:

1- Genuine Porsche embossed burgundy/maroon (vinyl style) manuals pouch / storage case --- in excellent condition - this is the genuine item and NOT a cheap reproduction or knock-off imitation - the inner lining color is also the correct color for this model / year - there are two very small tears noted on the bottom left sleeve and the top right sleeve, where the manuals insert into the sleeves - please see photos!

2- Porsche 911SC Owner's Manual '78 (4677.21   5.1 M 7/77   Model 1978) 75 pages of reading material and information --- NOS: New Old Stock in pristine condition - all pages are perfectly clean and intact - the original spiral ring spine is intact and in perfect condition - both covers may show some minor age and storage related wear - please see photos! 

3- Porsche 911SC Warranty & Maintenance Model '78 (4315.23   5 M  7/77   Model 1978) 20 pages --- NOS: New Old Stock - no prior data has been written in - no prior vehicle's or owner's information have been recorded - all change of ownership transfer vouchers are present - some delamination is noted along the edge of its front cover - both covers may show some minor age and storage related wear!

Overall this manual set is in EXCELLENT condition!

CCS receives $2.5m GM Grant

General Motors is set to strengthen its longstanding commitment to Detroit's College for Creative Studies with a $2.5 million donation, a contribution that will help the university undertake a $145 million redevelopment of its A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education. This is not the first time that GM has given to CCS – the ongoing relationship between them sees members of the GM design team teach and mentor students, while CCS also receives loans of industrial equipment from its Detroit neighbor.
