Thu, 12 Mar 2009Porsche Panamera - UK prices announced [ad#ad-1] Finally, the long, drawn-out saga of the Porsche Panamera’s gestation from concept, to spy shot, to tease, to reveal is over, with Porsche releasing the UK prices for the Panamera today, and the first UK Cars being delivered in September. Prices start at £72,266 for the Panamera S (which gets the 4.8 V8), £77,269 for the Panamera 4S (which also gets the V8 but with 4WD) and £95,298 for the range-topping Panamera Turbo. Still to come, although not until next year, is the Diesel, and the year after the Hybrid.

Fri, 09 Jul 2010The Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo 2011 debuted at Goodwood If you went down to the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend you may well have come across Alpina’s latest offering – the Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo – which, following the news yesterday that BMW have retired the current generation (E60) M5 and that you’ll have to wait intil next year for the new M5 – is the only way to hop in to a brand new ‘Hot’ 5 series for at least the next 9 months. Not only is the Alpina B5 the only really quick 5 series on the market now, it will also be a lot less ubiquitous in the long run than BMW’s own M5. A lot to be said for that.
Hot Mitsubishi sports car bound for UK

A 2.4-litre 162bhp four backed by a five-speed gearbox kicks off the range, supplemented by a 263bhp 3.8-litre V6.
