LH & RH Dual Remote rally sport mirrors correct for all 1986, 1987, 1988 Monte Carlo SS, Luxury Sport, El Camino, and GMC Conquista.

Mirrors will also work on 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985 models as well (but you would have to elongate the mounting holes as the '86-87 mirrors have a wider bolt pattern).

Mirrors are complete with mounting gaskets and bezels for remotes. 2 different styles of driver door bezels are included.

Mirrors have been sanded smooth, etch primed, sanded with 400 grit, and primed. No dents.

Mirror glass is clear with no hazing. No chips or cracks.

Both driver and passenger remotes work freely and hold position.

Note: Mirrors are designed so that a small clip on the inside of the door makes a slight 'curl' in the cable. This allows for the mirrors to be tight and hold their position. They can be loose without this curl in the cable.

2014 Ford Focus: OFFICIAL

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

The 2014 Ford Focus Facelift revealed The Ford Focus is already one of the best cars in its class, but the 2014 version of the Focus – revealed today officially after a leak over the weekend – looks set to make the new Focus even more appealing. The most obvious visual change is the adoption of the Aston Martin grill that now adorns the nose of Ford’s latest models, and that is enhanced with a new front bumper, re-profiled bonnet, slimmer headlight and a tweak to the tailgate with new lights too. Inside, the new Focus loses many of the buttons that are scattered around the current model to be replaced by controls run through the touchscreen, a new steering wheel, thicker carpets and thicker glass for better sound insulation, new sliding integrated arm rest, satin black trim and chrome detailing and the arrival of Ford’s connected SYNC 2.

Tue, 23 Apr 2013

It’s an interesting exercise to ponder on the future of main dealer showrooms as the world moves more and more towards an online buying experience. Are car showrooms a relic of the past or the perfect way, still, to showcase the offerings from a car maker? Volkswagen are taking no chances on the future and have already rolled out their ‘Digital Showrooms’ across the dealer network where staff get iPads and advanced web tools to try and bring the on-line and off-line worlds in to a workable intersection, and offer customers virtual product that wouldn’t otherwise be available on show.

Safety probe: BMW 7-series rolling away in 'park'

Tue, 09 Aug 2011

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating a potential problem with BMW 7-series sedans of not properly shifting into park. The issue sparked NHTSA's concern when it received a complaint that a 2006-model-year 7-series rolled away after the owner parked and exited the vehicle. BMW also submitted similar incident reports in which other 7-series cars rolled away from their owners.
