PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This trick Maximum Motorsports tool is invaluable when installing lowering springs on a Mustang. This Mustang Front Spring Install Tool bolts to the Front Control Arm, and guides the bottom coil of the Front Spring into its proper position on the Front Control Arm as the arm is swung up into place with a floor jack. The tool is then easily dismounted from the control arm, and is removed through the access hole in the arm. The often-frustrating task of 1979-2004 Mustang Lowering Spring installation is made quick and easy with this Maximum Motorsports tool!

Note: Not for use with stock Mustang springs or Drag Launch Springs because of their long free length. A spring compressor is required to install stock springs or Drag Launch Springs. Will not work with aftermarket tubular-type control arms.

Image uploaded by Eric V.Bought this after reading reviews about supposedly "needing" it to install springs in fox.... YES after using tool there is no way I would want to try and wrestle the spring in without it. It works super slick and really sped up install, also I felt safer installing spring if nothing else. Use dish soap on ramp part and spring will slide in very easy.

I tried doing my spring install without this tool couldn't fit the isolators on put it all back together and it was not right and it to me a day of cussing at it to put it all together. I decided that if I wanted to do it right I needed this tool. Thus is the best thing I could have bought made the spring install a breeze finished both side in less than an hour and a half after spending a whole day fighting it.

I have been doing suspension work for 25 years. Was an ASE cert. Chassis tech in the 90s. Can't tell you how many front springs I've put in. Last weekend, I just could not get the springs in my 88 GT. I'm getting old. After fighting it. I came in and ordered this tool. Got here, today when they said it would. Came home from work with it sitting at my front door. Went out to pop the springs in. BAM!! 10 minutes and they were in. Not one fight.
Just an awesome invention, this tool is. If you do front springs on a Fox. Get this tool.
Go on.....DO IT!!

Image uploaded by Julian G.The tool Installs quick, and guide's the spring into position without wandering. I first attempted with spring compressors, they did not get the job done and left my springs scratched a bit. So i purchased this tool to install Eibach lowering springs and BBK Isolators on my 89 LX. The Isolators slide along the tool without any friction, pinching, or binding. I was installing fresh control arms so i wrapped a single layer of electrical tape around the area's of the tool that clamp the control arm, as not to damage the control arms finish. The install was fast, effortless and above all, SAFE. I also purchased the Maximum Motorsports Rear Axle Bushing Tool, and am impressed with the quality of the tools. They are built strong, designed well, and MADE IN THE USA.

Mazda RX-8 gets an update – in Japan

Mon, 25 May 2009

Mazda has updated the RX-8 in Japan with new colours and extra equipment [ad#ad-1] Well, it does make sense to update your cars in your home market first, so the updates to the Mazda RX-8 for the Japanese market announced today are almost certain to come to UK cars before long. Just like the updates Mazda made to the MX-5 in Japan were followed by updates to the Mazda MX-5 UK spec car shortly after. Despite the fact that the Mazda RX-8 is not the best-selling car in the world, it does have an awful lot going for it.

Ferrari one-two in 2010 Bahrain Grand Prix

Sun, 14 Mar 2010

Fernando Alonso leads a Ferrari one-two at the Bahrain Grand Prix It looked as if it should have been Red Bull’s weekend. Or at least Sebastian Vettel’s weekend. But in the end the unreliability that seems to have crept in to the Red Bulls stopped them from carrying on where they left off in 2009, despite Vettel leading the first F1 Grand Prix of the season in Bahrain for the majority of the race.

Saab’s Jan Åke Jonsson retires, 2010 earnings & deals in Russia & China

Fri, 25 Mar 2011

Saab's CEO Jan Ake Jonsson to retire after almost 40 years with Saab It’s been a difficult period at Saab, what with trying to survive as GM came close to closing the Swedish car maker down in the absence of a ‘suitable’ buyer, through being taken over by Spyker and then trying to replace their entire range. And it’s taken its toll on Saab boss Jan Åke Jonsson. It’s been announced that – after nearly 40 years with Saab – 59-year old Jan Åke will step down from his job in May and hand the reins over – temporarily – to Spyker’s Victor Muller until a replacement can be found.
