These seats were removed from a running, driving 1981 Corvette with 53,000 miles and are Camel in color. The will fit 79-82 Corvettes. The seat tracks have been removed. These seats were reconditioned two years ago by the previous owner. The seat clam shells are original and were re-dyed. They are solid with no cracks or damage. One of the seats has two small mounting points at the bottom of the shell for the control switch for a power seat, but the shell will also work with non-power seat tracks. The cushions are aftermarket leather replacements from Eckler. The covers, seat foam, and wire reinforcement were purchased new. The cushions are still hard and have not been broken in yet. One of the hinge covers is missing (pics 7, 8). The hinges do not lock in the upright position, which is fairly common. They still work fine and are usable as-is. The carpet on the seat backs is in nice condition. Thanks for looking and please check out the other Corvette listings in my ebay store.

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport gets its Guinness World Speed Record back

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

According to Guinness at the time, putting a limiter on a production car changed the Veyron and made the record invalid. But it seems Guinness has had a rethink. From originally stating that “…as the car’s speed limiter was deactivated, this modification was against the official guidelines” they have now decided that doesn’t matter any more because Bugatti hasn’t changed the Super Sport in any other way.

Honda blames ‘Sustained conditions of low demand’ in Europe for the swathing cuts in its workforce in the, but believes the move is necessary to protect the long-term future of Swindon.

Porsche 911 GT3s to be given new engines after fire issue

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

The Porsche 911 GT3 (pictured) is getting a new engine Last month, after two new Porsche 911 GT3s caught fire, Porsche stopped delivering new 911 GT3s to owners, halted production and advised owners not to drive their new pride and joy. But now Porsche say they have discovered the cause of the issue and have a fix – a new engine. The fault that caused the fires is as simple as faulty connecting rod fasteners which damaged the crankcase, so Porsche is in the process of building new engines for all 785 GT3s already made with new connecting rod fasteners.
