Koenigsegg One:1 preparing for Geneva & hosted by Christian von Koenigsegg (video)
Wed, 26 Mar 2014Christian von Koenigsegg walks us round the new Koenigsegg One:1 The first sniff of the Koenigsegg One:1 came at the end of 2012 when Cars UK exclusively revealed the first details of Koenigsegg’s Megacar. It took more than a year for Christian von Koenigsegg and his intrepid team to complete the first car, but it was worth the wait. Probably the supercar star of the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month, the One:1 gets 1360 HP and weighs just 1360KG – the the world’s first 1:1 power to curb weight ratio supercar – and has 2G cornering ability and 610kg of downforce at 160mph thanks to active aerodynamics.
Think, again: Norwegian electric-car maker looks for U.S. plant
Thu, 12 Mar 2009Think, the Norwegian electric-car maker, says it plans to build an assembly plant and a technical center in the United States. After financing failed in the wake of the collapse of credit markets in late 2008, the company entered Norway's debt-settlement process (the equivalent of Chapter 11 bankruptcy), and production of its recently redesigned Think city car was halted. It continues operating under a $6 million interim funding measure while it pursues additional financing.
New BMW M3 and M4 CONFIGURATOR now LIVE
Fri, 24 Jan 2014New BMW M3 and M4 Configurator now live No customer has yet had the chance to drive the new BMW M4 (or its saloon sibling, the 2014 BMW M3) but that hasn’t stopped UK buyers clamouring to place an order. BMW UK has revealed that more than 200 UK customers have already placed and order for the new M Twins, with expectations that there will be almost 2000 sales in the first year (60/40 in favour of the M4 Coupe). But even though those first UK buyers for the M3 and M4 haven’t driven their new baby yet, they can now go online and play with the both the new M3 and M4 configurator to spec up their new toy just as they did with the dealer, but get a much better idea of what to expect.
