High Efficiency Magnetic Drive Direct Current Circulator for your 9V, 12V, 15V, 18V, 21V, 24V DC, 5.5 GPM, ½ in NPT 95C/203F Hot Water Pump:

The Ecocirc electrically commuted spherical motor design offers many benefits over other pump styles. The Laing design operates on extremely low power input at a specified nominal voltage from 8 to 24 volts; the spherical permanent magnet eliminates impeller slippage which makes the Laing pump up to 40% more efficient than a standard induction motor. The motor has no shaft and therefore no shaft seal that is a wear point and potential leak path. Pump operation is virtually silent, with a low 35 db noise level. The brushless motor has a lifetime in excess of 50,000 hours when operated at nominal voltage and can be powered directly by solar panels, battery or other DC power sources. The unique screw ring design for this series of pumps allows for changing motors without disturbing the pump housing piping. 12’ of head at 35 Watts down to 2’ of head at 10 Watts.

McLaren 650S (2014) first official pictures

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

By Phil McNamara First Official Pictures 17 February 2014 13:00 Punchier, a few kilos lighter, more incisive to drive yet more luxurious, McLaren has overhauled the 12C to create the 650S. The new supercar – which makes the 12C look obsolete – is in production now, and will cost punters around £195,000 for the coupe. A folding hard-top spider will also be available, for around £215,000. In a strategy reminiscent of Aston Martin’s continuous improvement of the DB9 and its transformation into the Vanquish, McLaren has revamped the carbonfibre 12C with 25% new parts.

SEAT Alhambra (2010 / 2011) revealed

Mon, 19 Apr 2010

SEAT has revealed the 2011 Alhambra After we had the official reveal of the 2010 VW Sharan last month at Geneva, it’s not a huge shock that we now get the reveal of SEAT’s version of the Sharan – the SEAT Alhambra. We don’t think SEAT had planned on revealing the Alhambra quite yet, but there are undisguised spy shots flying around the Interweb so they obviously decided to be pragmatic and send out some info – and pictures – earlier than planned. Just like the Sharan, the latest Alhambra is an all new job based on VW’s new flexible MQB platform so, just like the Sharan, the Alhambra is wider and longer than the current model, but also weighs less.
