Item Description: This is a set of eight Genuine Mercedes spark plugs, made by Bosch in Germany. These are the correct NON-RESISTOR plugs required for the M119 DOHC V-8 engine used from 1990-1999 in the W124, W140, W210, and R129 chassis. If your Mercedes V8 has distributor caps, it needs non-resistor plugs, no matter what the aftermarket catalog says. The more common Bosch FR8DC are resistor type and are not recommended for distributor ignitions. Also, fine-wire, exotic element plugs (platinum, yttrium, or similar) do not work well at all in these engines - don't pay extra for fancy plugs that make your engine run worse. The M119 performs best with F8DC4 plugs! The aftermarket Bosch plugs are made in either Brazil or Russia, and have slight differences compared to the Genuine Mercedes version which is made in Germany. See detailed photos below, what you see is what you will receive. Some dealerships charge over ten dollars each for these plugs (over $80/set)! Get them here for a fraction of the dealer price.
