Toyota and Lexus cars may have problems with stalling engines

More than a quarter-million Toyota cars sold worldwide--including many Lexus cars--have engines that may suddenly stall while the car is moving, Toyota said on Thursday. So far, Toyota has not recalled the vehicles, which total about 270,000 units. And its announcement in Japan did not say how Toyota discovered the problem.

Aston Martin Vantage gets V12, but we won't get the car

The Aston Martin V12 Vantage, the hottest version of the two-seat coupe, is the latest step in the automaker's new-model offensive for 2009. U.S. sales of quirky 5-series GT disappoint BMW

Now, BMW of North America CEO Jim O'Donnell says he wishes the company hadn't stopped selling the 5-series wagon in the United States last year.
