Rare: Original owner's manuals set for 1980 Porsche (classic chassis) 911 SC models. This is an authentic, original print and period correct Porsche literature set!

List of contents:

1- Genuine Porsche embossed burgundy/maroon (vinyl style) manuals pouch (storage case) --- this is the genuine item and NOT a cheap reproduction or knock-off imitation - it is great condition with no rips or any tears - the inner lining color is also the period correct for this model / year - some very minor smudge or grime marks may show because of long term shelf storage - please see photos!

2- Porsche 911 SC Owner's Manual Model '80 (4686.21  3 M  8/79   Model 1980) 78 pages of reading material and information --- in very good condition - some interior pages show finger print smudge marks - all pages are perfectly functional and intact - the original spiral ring spine is also in perfect and unbroken condition- please see photos! 

3- Porsche 911 SC Warranty & Maintenance Model '80 booklet (4323.23   3,0 M  8/79   Model 1980) --- NOS: New Old Stock - NEVER BEEN USED IN GLOVE BOX - never been written in and no information or service stamps have been recorded - all ownership transfer vouchers are present!

4- Porsche Service booklet (European dealer directory and atlas dated 3/1979 - Edition 15) 40 pages plus maps --- shows minor moisture effect on both front and back covers - all interior pages are fully intact!

Overall this manual set is in EXCELLENT condition!

NHTSA investigates Ford Super Duty for steering problem

Federal U.S. safety officials are investigating about 340,000 copies of the 2008 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty pickup trucks for a reported steering problem. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has received five complaints that an internal failure of the steering gear box results in a complete loss of steering control.

UK-based Ford tuner Mountune set up shop in the U.S. just a couple months ago, and is already offering upgrades to the Ford Focus ST and the Ford Fiesta ST. Mountune is Ford's official partner in Europe, and their experience goes back 30 years Mountune comes from a slightly different branch of Ford tuning that North American buyers are used to -- their specialty has been tuning Ford's smaller cars in Europe rather than muscle cars, and they've worked on everything from Escorts to Focuses (though perhaps not the Escorts and Focuses that we're used to).
