Aston Martin V8 Vantage – 2010 updates
Thu, 10 Dec 2009The 2010 Aston Martin V8 Vantage The last round of changes to the Aston Martin V8 Vantage turned it in to what it should have been in the first place – a properly powerful ‘baby’ Aston Martin. Critics will surely say that the Cajun represents yet another move away from Porsche's sports car roots, but don't forget the effect that Cayenne sales have had on the company's balance sheets.
Seat completes industry's largest solar panel installation
Mon, 25 Nov 2013SEAT HAS completed construction of the largest solar panel installation in the automotive industry. The huge 'Seat al Sol' array at the firm’s Martorell plant outside Barcelona is the size of 40 football pitches and generates 15 million kilowatt hours of power per year courtesy of the reliable Spanish sunshine. The electricity produced is enough to account for a quarter of the amount needed to build a year’s allocation of Leons, reducing the factory’s energy bills significantly and saving 7,000 tonnes of CO2 per year.
